UNIT SCOUTER OF THE YEAR
This award is to the adult who is integral to a unit's success through Scouting spirit and has worked tirelessly.
VFW SCOUT OF THE YEAR
Annually the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States awards scholarships to individuals who have risen above their peers in exemplifying the qualities of one of Scouting's three (3) highest ranks: Eagle Scout Award, Girl Scout Gold Award, and the Venture Summit or Sea Scout Quartermaster Award.
Awards are
$5,000 - 1st place National scholarship
$3,000 - 2nd place National scholarship
$1,000 - 3rd place National scholarship
